Our Story
This city, where everything is on demand and anything is possible, is still missing one thing: an outlet that genuinely improves people’s lives in the long run.
We didn’t choose to open a bar. Not fast food.
We’re introducing nutritious shakes — the first of its kind available on the market. We knew from the start how difficult it would be to make it both pure and sustainable as a business. But we also knew: this is what people truly need, as opposed to what they’re often marketed.
I learned the value of nutrition while recovering from a dance injury at 13. My therapy combined ancient natural remedies with nutritional programs. It was only through those methods that I was able to walk again — and eventually dance again — even though doctors said I never would.
That experience revealed to me the life-changing power of true healing. It inspired me to become a doctor, a certified fitness instructor, and a lifelong student of nutrition. Today, I bring together 16 years of medical experience, 11 years of classical dance training, and 5 years as a dedicated fitness professional.

My name is Nio. I've been sporting a black cap with my black hair since I was at five years-old, the image that inspired my partner Max's idea for our logo. Max and I combined all of our professional and life experience together to create Nio's Shake to inspire and help New Yorkers achieve their health goals.
My shakes are as true as my story. I hope they become part of yours too.
